Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide (BFA) is produced by fusion of high-quality bauxite in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. It has high toughness, high self-sharpening, lower expansion coefficient, no rusty spot, good hydrophily, high cleanliness, etc. Sinabuddy supply many shapes (sharp, angular, cubic) and grit sizes ranging from macro grits to micro grits and powders.

It is suitable for resin-bonded cut off wheels / discs and grinding wheels, vitrified wheels, cutting cast iron, regular steel, carbon steel, and nonferrous metals like hard bronze. It is also widely used in Coated Abrasives, say Abrasive Sanding rolls & sheets, Sanding discs, sanding Pads, etc.

Calcined Brown Aluminum Oxide

Calcined Brown Aluminum Oxide is reddish brown color. It has higher purity, cleanliness, stronger hydrophilicity, smaller expansion coefficient, higher toughness, lower content of magnetic materials and higher strength.
Suitable for high grade Bonded Abrasives, say high quality Vitrified grinding wheels, Resin wheels.

Blue Fired Brown Aluminum Oxide

Blue Fired Brown Aluminum Oxide is produced from high quality Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide by heat treated in the temperature of 1350℃. Its color is blue, and is characterized with much higher strength, excellent hydrophilic.
To be used for Top grade Coated Abrasives and Bonded Abrasives.

Ceramic Coated Brown Aluminum Oxide

Ceramic Coated BFA: Ceramic coating improves it’s purity and hydrophilicity, reduces dust, and makes the abrasive grain has greater toughness, strength and roughness. Sinabuddy supplys two kinds of Ceramic coated BFA, Ceramic coated regular BFA(BFA-CCA, or BFA-MCC), and Ceramic coated Blue Fired BFA(BFA-CCBA or BFA-HCC).
To be used for High grade Bonded Abrasives and Coated Abrasives.
