Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide (BFA) is produced by fusion of high-quality bauxite in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. It has high toughness, high self-sharpening, lower expansion coefficient, no rusty spot, good hydrophily, high cleanliness, etc. Sinabuddy supply many shapes (sharp, angular, cubic) and grit sizes ranging from macro grits to micro grits and powders. It is suitable for resin-bonded cut off wheels / discs and grinding wheels, vitrified wheels, cutting cast iron, regular steel, carbon steel, and nonferrous metals like hard bronze.
